FEA Project Engineer

Fidelis Engineering Associates is a CAE Consultancy specializing in high-end, multi-physics simulations and is a proud reseller of Dassault Systèmes’ world-renowned engineering software.

Fidelis is looking for a motivated FEA Project Engineer to join our team!

Ideal candidates will be well-versed in the fundamentals of mechanical engineering and materials science, have ample experience using HyperWorks, ABAQUS, fe-safe, Tosca, and Isight, and will possess exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers to understand project objectives, constraints, loading and boundary conditions, and project timing
• Develop analytical methodologies to meet customer objectives within project constraints
• Build, debug, analyze, and interpret Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models
• Perform linear and non-linear structural analysis using ABAQUS, fe-safe, Tosca, and Isight
• Evaluate analytical predictions and assess the validity of FEA results
•Correlate analytical predictions with in-service and laboratory test results
• Provide sound conclusions and recommendations for product improvement
• Generate high-quality, detailed engineering reports
• Present results, conclusions, and recommendations during customer-facing meetings

Ancillary Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with coordination and delegation of project work to internal and external teams
• Develop and document Fidelis standards and best practices
• Write technical papers and present findings at industry conferences
• Write blog articles and document case studies to assist marketing efforts

Required Skills & Experience

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS Preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience performing Finite Element Analysis
• Expertise using Hypermesh and Abaqus software
• Experience using FE-Safe, Tosca, Isight software
• Superior problem solving and analytical capabilities
• Ability to plan and manage projects effectively
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

CFD Project Engineer

Fidelis Engineering Associates is a CAE Consultancy specializing in high-end, multi-physics simulations and is a reseller of Dassault Systèmes’ world-renowned engineering software.

Fidelis is looking for a motivated CFD Project Engineer to join our team!

Ideal candidates will be well-versed in the fundamentals of fluid dynamics, have ample experience using STAR-CCM+, XFlow or PowerFLOW and will possess exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers to understand project objectives and timing
• Develop analytical methodologies to meet customer objectives within project constraints
• Build, debug, analyze, and interpret Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models
• Perform steady-state and transient CFD simulations that may require resolution of multiphase flow, thermal and turbulence
• Experience in aerodynamics and aeroacoustics is highly desirable
• Evaluate analytical predictions and assess the validity of CFD results
• Correlate analytical predictions with in-service and laboratory test results
• Provide sound conclusions and recommendations for product improvement
• Generate high-quality, detailed engineering reports
• Present results, conclusions, and recommendations during customer-facing meetings

Fidelis Engineering Associates is a CAE Consultancy specializing in high-end, multi-physics Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations and is a promoter of Dassault Systèmes’ world-renowned engineering software.

Fidelis is looking for a motivated CAE Account Manager to join our team!

Ideal candidates will be well-versed in the fundamentals of mechanical engineering, have experience selling engineering software and services, and will possess exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Possess and convey a robust understanding of Fidelis’ product and service offerings
• Identify potential customers and generate relevant leads
• Develop and implement customer-specific sales strategies
• Create marketing material to promote software and service offerings
• Contact prospective customers and nurture trusted relationships
• Manage and delegate customer inquiries accordingly
• Lead project quoting and project management efforts

Required Skills & Experience

• BBA or BS in Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience (Engineering Software Preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple accounts effectively
